How it works

A small supply in. A fast charge out. A battery in between.

A conventional 90 kW charger needs a 90 kW-plus utility connection — long approvals, heavy capex and recurring demand charges, and the moment the power blinks, charging stops. Vector works differently. A small 11–30 kW supply trickles energy into a battery around the clock; when a car plugs in, the battery surges that stored energy out at full power. So the charger delivers far more than the supply line alone ever could — up to 90 kW from a connection up to 8× smaller.

Questions, answered

Can it really fast-charge from a small power supply?
Yes. The built-in battery lets a Vector deliver up to 90 kW from a connection as small as 11–30 kW — up to 8× smaller than a conventional charger of the same output, with no wiring upgrade or utility paperwork.
What happens during a power cut?
It keeps charging. The battery holds the charger live through outages, and fully off-supply operation is supported for remote and standby sites.
Which models are available?
FCV-30 (30 kW), FCV-60 (60 kW) and FCV-90 (90 kW), with an FCV-120 build option adding a fourth module (160 kWh, ~30-minute charge).
Is it solar-compatible and remotely managed?
Yes — it's solar-ready (recharge the battery from PV) and auto-run: IoT-monitored, remotely managed and OCPP 1.6J compliant for unattended operation.
