Microgrid power planning delivered across 11 cities for a government infrastructure programme.
Engineering-leadership contribution to the design of microgrid systems for 11 cities under a government-to-government infrastructure programme. Each city required a minimum continuous power capacity of 4 MW — a large-scale hybrid energy-planning assignment combining solar generation, battery energy storage, diesel backup and city-scale distribution architecture.
The work spanned solar generation design, battery-storage planning, diesel-backup integration and load study, hybrid microgrid architecture and a centralised monitoring concept, scalable to city-wide power infrastructure.
